Danica Barreau was raised in Germany, the daughter of an American school teacher and a French artist. She moved to the United States in 1992 to attend university. Although currently employed as an analyst for a large corporation, she spends her spare time as a graphic artist, web designer, photographer, cook, and animal lover. She volunteers her time and talents to an English Setter rescue and spends her evenings at home sweeping up giant piles of fur.

Danica currently lives in central Ohio with a grumpy Golden Retriever, a deaf English Setter, and far too many cats.
